Business DescriptionThe Lifelong Learning Center in Surprise is an incredible educational resource offering continued education to the communities of Surprise. With community education courses ranging from introductory English classes in Surprise and basic reading, writing and math classes, to Surprise GED preparation classes and computer classes in Surprise. The Lifelong Learning Center has been recently renovated and is now three times its original size to better serve the needs of the Surprise community for continued education. The new Surprise learning center is equipped with the latest technologically advanced classrooms, a Surprise computer lab and testing center, as well as a Surprise community meeting hall.

ServicesLifelong Learning Center in Surprise provides the following community education courses in Surprise:

  • Adult Basic Education (ABE) classes: A basic education curriculum to improve reading, writing and math skills.

  • GED preparation classes: A course designed to prepare students to take the high school diploma equivalency exam.

  • GED testing: The GED exam is administered in the Surprise testing center. See schedule for dates.
  • English Language Acquisition for Adults classes (ELAA): A series of classes devoted to improving English speaking, comprehension and reading skills. All levels of English speakers welcome.

  • Academic advisement is also available on Fridays, as well as education counseling by appointment.
